Mothers’ Day Flower Sale
In honor of mothers and motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society, MCRTL sells live roses and/or carnations at various churches throughout Miami County. We are always in need for additional locations to sell the roses and logistical volunteers who can obtain or distribute the roses to assigned locations. Fishing Pond – Troy Strawberry Festival
First Weekend in June
The Fishing Pond is a big hit at the Troy Strawberry Festival! For $2 children can “fish” for a stuffed animal or toy. If you or your church group are interested in working a shift at the Fishing Pond, contact Mary Jo at (937) 339-3198.
Flower Sale
October
Since 1971, October has been celebrated as Respect Life Month in which Christians renew their personal commitment to defend all human life, especially the most vulnerable. In addition to offering prayer services and engaging in public witness and advocacy through the Life Chain, Miami County Right to Life sells paper roses to remind the community of the responsibility we have before God to unconditionally acknowledge the dignity of every human being and the sacredness of human life.
